Insist on your cup of stars!

In one of the Haunting episodes, young Nell finds an old tea set which had belonged to a previous resident of Hill House; and Mrs. Dudley explains its history. Nell expresses concern that her mother may not permit her to use the special cup with the stars, since it is fragile. Mrs. Dudley lovingly tells Nell, “Use your cup of stars, INSIST on your cup of stars. Once they have trapped you into being like everyone else you will never see your cup of stars again.”

I absolutely loved this moment, and it serves as a reminder that we, too, need to insist on our cup of stars!
