The pine boards seen below are from repurposed wine boxes, and they have since been painted black. I also found some additional shadow boxes and I have decided to create an assemblage mixed media project which will also feature photos of my kids through the years. I’m excited about this one since I plan to hang the finished projects on each side of our living room fireplace (center point of the room). I still have no mental “visual” on what this will look like, but I’m looking forward to posting some work in progress soon!  Have a great evening!

About to start something….  (not sure what!)

So, I wanted to try and begin something creative today, so I went through some random materials that I had laying around; and well, nothing started yet!

Among the items are 3 pieces of wood board, acrylic paints, scrapbook paper, Mod Podge and black cheese cloth material. I need some time to ponder, and hopefully an idea will come!  Will update when a spark happens, which often happens in the middle of the night for me. sigh!
