So my last blog post was in regard to leveraging my mom’s creativity (I also mentioned that she passed away this year), so I hope this latest piece does not come across as morbid. I really LOVE mixed media, and in this piece, which I call “Flight to the Afterlife”, combines the use of polymer clay, assemblage objects, fabric, dried floral, textured canvas and decoupage. I will place this one on my CC Gallini Etsy page for sale this week, but wanted to share it here first, since is was a total BLAST to create! Dimensional art is my jam, so until my art “pops”, it isn’t finished!
